I love this knife set, They are in fact Sharp, Quality is amazing, look great and I have an issue with how things feel but the texture and material used was amazing! This along with my home bartender set, made me feel like being in the kitchen is fun lol. The price vs quality is wild, they feel like premium knifes and I use them for everything!

So far I really like this knife set. Having a place for the scissors is a really nice touch. A pair of kitchen scissors right on the countertop is very helpful. I think the slats are user friendly because some people have issues getting the knives directly in the smaller openings in other types of knife holders. Also, this one allows you to store other knives in there too if you'd like. The knives feel decently made for the price. I don't know how long the black color on the knives will last though, only time will tell. The base that they come in is made of plastic. The plastic feels kind of lightweight. So, I think it would be best not to be too rough with it. I don't know if it is sturdy enough to withstand being dropped or anything. But overall it looks really nice on my countertop and it's saving me some space in my drawers. That is the best part about this. The only thing I'm concerned with is how to clean the inside of this. All those little slats have a lot of open space for dust to get into.

These knives are so much better than I expected. Given their affordable price tag, cutting performance is awesome, they cut through some of the toughest food with hardly any effort. They are sharp and easy to use, I really appreciate the container they come for holding the knives. No dedicated space for each knife just kind of shove it in where it will fit.Given the affordable price tag in overall performance, these are definitely a great set of starter knives. My teenage daughter just moved out and she took them with her. While they are not the sharpest knife, I’ve ever used, they’re a great value.

I am really impressed by the usability of this knife set. Each knife feels thoughtfully designed and balanced. The chef’s knife, which I use the most, has a really comfortable weight to it. It glides through vegetables, meats, and herbs with very little effort. Chopping onions, slicing tomatoes, and trimming chicken feels smooth and controlled. I don’t feel like I have to force the blade through anything, which makes prep work faster and less tiring. The variety in the set is actually practical. The paring knife is perfect for peeling and small detailed work, the bread knife slices cleanly without crushing soft loaves, and the utility knife has become my go-to for quick snacks or smaller cutting tasks. I like that I’m not reaching for the same knife for everything anymore. One thing I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much is how convenient the block storage is. Everything has its place, and I can grab exactly what I need without digging through a drawer. It keeps the blades protected and my counters tidy. The slots are well-sized, so each knife slides in smoothly without feeling forced or loose.

This knife set includes all the main needed ones from a Chef knife to 8" slicers (meat and bread), down to a 3+" paring knife.They all are stainless steel, hollow ground, coated with a sharp edge. The coating is for protection and smooth gliding when cutting. The bread knife is very serrated and cuts bread well with a hard or soft crust.All should be treated well of course. I prefer to hand wash and dry good knives before putting them away in their stand. However these are quite able to be washed in a dishwasher if desired! (Do make sure that nothing is next to the blade to bounce or bump into it continuously and dull it in the dishwasher!)The scissors are rugged and able to cut meat and tendons or thick vegetable stalks. There is a special wide opening on the stand to hold them.For the rest of the knives, they are held in place by stacked wavy plastic guides allowing air to flow and the blades if damp are able to dry.The stand is just large enough and does not take up any extra room on the counter-top.Overall these are a good value and should hold up well for long continuous usage.

I was a bit nervous on this set as there was no main picture and not much of a description but I figured, at $20 it might be worth it.I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! It is a complete knife set including the knife "block". By no means is this a high-end set - but it's $20 and definitely a great value at that! The knives are sharp and the block is actually really cool. It reminds me of the middle of corrugated cardboard. There aren't set slots for the knives, you can just stick them in wherever.The set includes Kitchen shears, a Paring Knife, Utility Knife, Santoku Knife, Chef’s Knife, Bread Knife, slicing knife and then the cool knife "block". All the knives are stainless steel and very sharp and the shears are decent as well. And they actually tell you what the knife is on the blade! Kind of a nice touch for a non-chef like me.The knives don't have a full-length tang like you would expect on a high-end knife and they aren't super heavy-weight. Will they last a long time? Unlikely, but again, for $20 what do you expect? I fully anticipate that I'll get several months of decent use with them and maybe even a year or two if I'm extra careful.There does seem to be a bit of misbranding happening as the box shows one brand and the knives another. The box brand logo looks strikingly similar to a much more expensive brand of knives so perhaps that's what happened - they had to change their brand to not infringe. 🤷‍♀️ They're perfect for the starter home or the cabin or RV. Again, I'm actually impressed with the value for this set. Would I pay $50? Probably not but at $20, I'm happy!

I am not easily impressed when it comes to kitchen knives. I am a serious home cook and I usually equip myself with outrageously expensive forged steel German knives that are vicious and stabby.When these came up for offer, I almost passed them by because I figured they would be cheap junk. I decided to check them out just for the sake of curiosity. I am honestly gobsmacked by the quality of these knives!These knives are high quality and viciously sharp. They include a chef's knife, slicing knife, santoku knife, serrated bread knife, utility knife, paring knife, and kitchen shears.They have a matte black finish and are extremely attractive. I assumed they would scratch fairly easily, so I actually tried to scratch one with another knife and although it showed the marks, it didn't show through silver. It held it's black finish.They have plastic handles, but are of a good weight and feel comfortable in the hand. I tested the knives on a thin piece of printer paper, and they cut through it like butter. They are really sharp.I do not like the knife block. It is lightweight and feels like cheap plastic. It's a foreign design to me and I feel like it may dull my knives, but it's probably just because I'm not used to it, and I may come to like it over time.These knives are almost everything you could want aside from a boning knife, and they will serve me well and make excellent tools at my summer cottage. They are a ridiculously good value at the current asking price.

I like the look and feel of this set too. This set is great for the price and the holder doesn't take up much room on my counter. I am happy with my purchase.
